I live with my mother and my six-year-old younger sister. My mother worked in a brick production factory but lost her job due to a staff reduction.

Now I have to pick up garbage from the landfill, empty cans, and papers that I resell at the market. In this way, we can buy food and coal for heating at home. Before, we lived near the landfill in a shed made of cardboard, cloth, and metal. Here, the children receive a monthly income of $23 and my mother earns around a dollar and a half a day.

The new ger has made life easier for us. With this income, the conditions are very difficult but having a new house is a great relief.
