I am a nine-year-old girl who goes to the village school. I am a very good student. My father abandoned me, my mother, my 18-year-old sister, and my brothers aged 16 and 13. They all study secondary school and my 43-year-old mother is out of a job, and although she sometimes sells small items on the street, she earns no more than one dollar and a half or two a day. As children, we receive government aid for the poorest families of $10 a month. Our home caught fire and we were homeless, we had to live in a ruined house.

My brothers and my mother, with the help, participated in the assembly of the new house, they looked so happy! Our new home has changed our lives.
