I am a 59-years old man from Thies, Senegal. I am married, with 3 kids, and have a shop in the central market of Thies. I sell various food products and my stock comes from different local suppliers.
I have completed primary school and started my business 20 years ago. Prior to having my shop, I had various jobs as pig and sheep herding and also currency exchange activities. I was able to launch my actual business thanks to the savings from these activities.
Now that the business is running well, I would like to buy a second shop. Also, when I get enough money, I would like to buy a drinks warehouse.
My first loan with Caurie was in 2013 for an amount of XOF 2 million (EUR 3,000) and I have recently contracted my third loan of XOF 4 million (EUR 6,000) for 36 months.
