Social Issue

With more than 22 million inhabitants, New Delhi is the most populous city in India. Poverty and social inequality rates are very high. It must be added as well that, according to the World Health Organisation, New Delhi is the most polluted city on the planet, and according to data from the same organisation, pollution is one of the most important causes of mortality in the world. Poverty, inequality, and pollution: In this context, it is necessary to develop strategies to offer adequate health care to low-income New Delhi residents living in poor communities, sick, homeless, unemployed, and outcasted.

Our Response

With the donation of two new fully equipped ambulances, it is expected that the following actions can be carried out:

  • Picking up homeless patients in extremely serious conditions and take them to different hospitals for an emergency cure.
  • Taking homeless people who are undergoing medical treatment to the hospital regularly.
  • Using the ambulance as a mobile clinic to assist on the ground those in need.
  • Being the gateway to the lives of those most in need in order to offer psychological follow-up.

Expected Social Impact

Thanks to these ambulances, it is expected to assist an annual average of 60,000 people.
