Social Issue

In the Demba district, where the town of Robit is located, the population with access to drinking water is less than 20%. As a consequence, many people get sick from consuming contaminated water.

Our Response

In partnership with A Glimmer of Hope, Netri provided a grant for the construction of six water wells, which will enable the supply of clean drinking water to the population
of Robit.

Expected Social Impact

With the donation, six wells were built to improve access to drinking water for 1,230 inhabitants in the Demba district.

In addition to achieving a substantial improvement in the beneficiaries’ health, it is possible for all those who had to walk long distances to fetch water (especially women) to make better use of their time by dedicating it to more productive tasks.
