I am married and I have three children with whom I live in the Morogoro district. We were in a lot of trouble to pay for my children’s school, so I decided to open a hairdresser by investing €280, practically all my savings.
After six months of difficulties, I became a client of the BRAC microcredit programme, requesting a loan of €170, which has allowed me to improve my financial situation.
Now I have a monthly profit of €140 and I have been able to train a young neighbour to help me at the store. He is doing very well and gets paid €45 a month.
